Students may register for a course/class that is full or appears full by adding themselves to the waitlist via MyTVCC student portal or by completing an add/drop registration form. Students can obtain an add/drop registration form from Student Services or access the add/drop registration form online and return it to Student Services for processing.
- Upon registration via MyTVCC student portal, students will receive a message indicating they were added to the waitlist.
- Students will be waitlisted by date and time in which they registered.
- Students will be notified via their TVCC student email when they have been moved to an open spot.
- The Waitlist is managed through the end of the second day of each term at 5:00 pm. If you did not hear from us by the end of the second day of the term, you will not be moved off the waitlisted class.
- It is the student’s responsibility to monitor their schedule and drop the added course(s) if they no longer want the class.
- If students choose not to remain on the waitlist, they may remove themselves via MyTVCC student portal or by submitting a completed add/drop registration form to Student Services.
A student wishing to drop, or withdraw from any class must do so according to the academic calendar published in the quarterly class schedule. Students are responsible for grades assigned by the instructor if attendance ceases without completing an official drop or withdrawal.
- Dropping Classes Week 1 through Week 4:
- Click on the Course you wish to drop on your calendar in your student portal. From the dropdown menu click on “Remove from My Calendar" or “Drop Course”. A message will appear stating you have successfully dropped the course.
